London – 9th May 2013 – Diversity’s Jordan and Perri have definitely got the moves and Nickelodeon’s got the party, so let Jordan & Perri’s Ultimate Block Party commence! Brand new and exclusive to Nickelodeon this summer, the eight-part series sees Jordan and Perri travelling around the UK surprising kids with the ultimate block parties for their friends and family. The main attraction? The party’s headline dance act - a routine performed by the kids and choreographed by dance supremoes Jordan and Perri. Jordan & Perri’s Ultimate Block Party airs Fridays from 7th June at 6.30pm on Nickelodeon

Throughout the series Jordan Banjo and Perri Luc Kiely, known for their impressive street dance performances with Diversity, will be taken out of their comfort zone as they work with kids from different dance-style backgrounds. Meet “The Irish Dancers,” a group of eight friends from Essex who between them have more than 40 year’s experience in Irish dancing, but absolutely no experience of street dancing! These disciplined dancers are used to the strictest and most regimented routines; can Jordan and Perri encourage them to loosen up, get flexible and perform a jaw-dropping street dance act?

The series also features “The Blackpool Bunch,” a group of Blackpool born-and-bred youngsters who, despite attending a local urban dance project for the past two years, have never danced together, let alone performed together! And with Jordan and Perri putting The Blackpool Bunch to task with some especially impressive and complex street dance tricks, the pressure is on…

Throughout the series there’ll be surprises aplenty from celebrity guests such as Olympic Bronze Medallist, gymnast Beth Tweddle, girl band Stooshe and Diversity’s very own Ashley Banjo. They’ll help the groups in the style stakes, plus provide advice on performance nerves, working under pressure and that all important sense of group timing. There may even be some slime involved… so watch out!

“We challenged UK kids to help us throw the ultimate block parties and we couldn’t be more impressed with the results,” said Jordan and Perri from Diversity. “All of the kids we worked with absolutely love to dance and it was so motivating to see their passion on set. They even taught us some new dance moves – you’ve never seen an Irish jig like it!”

Throughout the series Jordan and Perri will throw the ultimate parties, choreograph killer street dance routines and even choose the most fitting performance tracks for the routines, as they put kids through their paces during intense dance rehearsals. Not only will the headline act be put to the test, but guests will also get a chance to show off their signature moves – no dad dancing allowed! And not forgetting the viewers at home, who can learn step-by-step some of Jordan and Perri’s routines.

Jordan & Perri’s Ultimate Block Party will air on Sky 1 HD later in the year.
Jordan and Perri have also teamed up with Clarks Kids this summer to present Step It Up 2; the ultimate dance competition. Kids will be given a once in a lifetime chance to show their best moves and become part of the final dance crew.  Three lucky winners will form the ultimate dance crew and win an exclusive dance boot camp with Jordan and Perri – they will also feature in their very own dance video aired on Nickelodeon. The competition opens on 18th May 2013, and kids simply need to upload a video of their best moves to - the public can then vote on who they want to win and secure a place in the ultimate dance crew.
Jordan and Perri are launching Clarks Kids Step It Up 2, a competition to find the ultimate dance crew, and you could be a part of it! To enter the competition, check out and upload your video before 16th June 2013.
