MTV LAUNCHES FLASH BRIEFING FOR AMAZON ALEXA
UK news content will be available with audio and later video for Echo Show owners
London 4th October 2017: Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN), a division of Viacom Inc. (NASDAQ: VIA, VIAB), today announced that MTV UK News has teamed up with Amazon to launch a new Flash Briefing skill for Echo Show, which is being launched in the UK following a successful US rollout.
From today, fans with Alexa enabled devices will have access to an audio MTV News UK Flash Briefing, featuring a bulletin of the day’s biggest pop culture stories. A video version of the bulletin is to be made available upon shipping of the new Echo Show next month.

The roll out of the new MTV News UK skill for Amazon’s Echo Show forms part of VIMN’s wider push to embrace multiplatform and next generation TV and follows on from the recent launch of The Daily Show with Trevor Noah skill on Amazon Alexa in the UK.
