YouTube Sensation TomSka Takes Over Comedycentral.co.uk
London, Monday 15th December: Comedy Central UK today announces that YouTube sensation Tomska will take over the Comedy Central UK website from today, Monday 15th December, as guest editor for one week.
TomSka, real name Thomas Ridgewell, is a twenty-something vlogger who has reeled in over 3.2 million subscribers and over 500 million views to his YouTube channel with his collection of comical videos, cartoons and sketches, making him one of the most successful YouTubers in the UK.
This week’s takeover will include exclusive original videos made by TomSka especially for Comedycentral.co.uk and he’ll also be curating some of his favourite content from around the web over the next five days.
Sam Delaney, Comedy Central’s Editor-in-Chief said: “TomSka is massive on the YouTube scene and has built up an incredible following during this new era of vloggers and YouTubers. He is one of the most successful, talented and influential comic talents in the world right now and we’re really excited about letting him run riot with our website for the week. He has made some great exclusive sketches for us which are going to blow away the audience.”
This will be Comedycentral.co.uk’s third major YouTube vlogger collaboration, following the successes of ‘KSI: Demolished’ and ‘The Sidemen Experience’, which attracted over 7 million views each.
